5 Adult Drinks to Make for the Summer Heat

Beer, wine, and hard alcohol. The real culprits when it comes to unnecessary calorie and sugar intake.

But, hey, we’re all adults here. We like to be able to have a couple drinks and relax in the sun without having to worry about packing on extra pounds. We don’t want all our hard work we put in at the gym offset.

So what do we do?

We use healthier alcohol! Sure, it’s not those Session IPA’s we have come to know and love, or those colorful and fruity cosmos you have to balance in those absurd glasses, but the ends justify the means in this situation.

Tito’s is a handmade vodka made from organic yellow corn and is virtually sugar-free and totally gluten-free. At a mere 60 calories per serving, this is one of the healthiest alcohols you can use.

That thirst isn’t going to quench itself. So, here are 5 delicious and natural adult drink recipes using Tito’s Vodka. And we even removed all sugary sodas and juice concentrates for that extra boost of freshness and healthiness.

1 liter of Tito’s Homemade Vodkapomogranit_cocktail
8 ounces of fresh organic blueberries
Evaporated cane juice
St. Germain or club soda

A simple infusion that is as beautiful to look at as to drink, this one is delicious served over ice, or mixed with a bit of St. Germain and club soda! Simmer all your fresh organic blueberries with 1 teaspoon organic evaporated cane juice over medium heat to help breakdown the fruit. Add to 1 liter of Tito’s Handmade Vodka and let sit 5 days, or until desired flavor is reached. If your blueberries aren’t sweet enough, add a bit more organic evaporated cane juice to taste. You can also use frozen blueberries for this recipe – the freezing actually helps the process along by breaking down the cell structures beforehand.
