Thanksgiving is almost here! At Koko FitClub HQ we’re giving thanks for the abundant benefits of fitness. Join us in the Thankful 4 Fitness challenge for a chance to win a special gift from your *local Koko FitClub.

Michael Wood, CSCS, is Chief Fitness Officer at Koko FitClub, driving the development of integrated strength and cardio training and nutrition programs for Koko members nationwide. A nationally acclaimed fitness expert, Michael has conducted research as a Senior Exercise Physiologist at the Nutrition, Exercise Physiology and Sarcopenia Laboratory at the Research Center on Aging at Tufts University, and has lectured at Boston University and the University of Connecticut. He has been named Boston Magazine’s “Best of Boston” Personal Trainer, and made the Men’s Journal “Dream Team” list of the nine best trainers in the U.S. Michael and his family live in North Attleboro, MA.

  1. I have been a member of Koko since 2/2011. I have reached a million points.
    For the last 6 weeks I have been trying to loose weight. I have been on the Koko fuel plans and doing 4 strength and 4 cardio per week. I have lost 10 lbs.
    The problem has been my BMI has gone from 32.6 to 33.8 and my lean muscle mass has gone from 111.2 to 108.0. That is not the direction I want to go.
    What can I do to loose weight but preserve my LMM and decrease my BMI.
